Milan, 15 September 2020 - Lenovo's first European concept store, a global technology leader, active in 180 markets with 57,000 employees worldwide. Hi-Tech&Green Philosophy. The philosophy that guided the design follows a thought where technology and nature come together and coexist in great synergy and harmony, where one cannot do without the other, with particular attention to Man and the world in which he lives. Spazio Lenovo is not a traditional store, but a cultural ecosystem where Technology and Nature enter into symbiosis, creating a fluid, elegant environment, in which the transition between green and metal becomes easy, immediate and functional, as in the sociability of a Greek agora. The human centered design, wanted to create a common thread, shortening the distance between the outside world, en plein air, and that of the interior, closed, typical of a traditional store. A functional environment contaminated by the 13 columns of real vertical green present inside, by a floor that evokes that of the gardens, by LED light wires, dichroic glass and large video walls for a completely digital communication. The space has been optimized to make it easy for people to move from one activity to another. The different areas have been designed to offer immersive experiences, in themselves and in the products. A colorful place that expresses all the values of the Lenovo brand, where you can read, work, get information or simply enjoy a good meal thanks to the internal bistro and choose the latest technological innovation on the market. The Concept Store of about 900 square meters spread over two floors. One of the first innovations is the abolition of cash desks, all payment transactions take place on the move and in digital form The ground floor was designed as a flexible exhibition space to be used also for promotional events and shows. The displays with a colorful design have inside the glass top, recessed monitors for a digital product communication that integrates with a visual communication on the wall and a large LedWall visible also from the street, which pierces the ceiling and rises up the second floor. The staircase leading to the first floor has been completely covered with dichroic glass "with its chromatic and reflective effects that fade from magenta to yellow to orange to green, evoking the solar spectrum and its chromatic change throughout the day, while the steps have LED lighting that follows the person as he climbs the stairs, like the keys of a piano. The first floor consists of two large areas: One Commercial and the other Business for companies. The first is developed in the widest and most visible part from the outside and consists of different experiences: Gaming, Virtual Reality, New products, Listening to Music, Motorola brand products and a Bistrot where you can eat or have a coffee, immersed in a large garden, consisting of 13 vertical columns of green, a real meeting place. In addition, there are dedicated functional spaces for co-working and smat-working (designed before the pandemic). All the tables with an exclusive design, created for Lenovo, have a thin top where digital labels are inserted inside to communicate the product on display. The Business Area consists of a space with wooden shelves where all the latest Lenovo business products are displayed, an Auditorium space with a large video wall, many colorful stools and 4 offices. A hi-tech project, designed for Human, for his ever closer link with Technology, but respectful of the world in which we live. "Because well-being is not the prerogative of a few but can be for everyone"
