South of the colorful clouds
When we talk about the "South of the Colorful Clouds", we can't help but think of the minority cultures, there are space for the mountains and forests to grow and the wild animal live here. the strange and magnificent caves are hidden in the ground and this Buddhist holy place is experienced more than thousands-year history. With the diverse scenery and custom, Yunnan known as the "poetry and faraway land" and a preferred vacation destination for tourists.
As a cultural tourism real estate project, this hotel is located next to the Manfelon Reservoir surrounded by mountains and beautiful lakes, which is a perfect place to start an immersive journey in Yunnan. There are twelve ethnic minorities homed in this lush and wild tropical rainforest, each with its own unique festivals, and you can travel to Xishuangbanna any time, one of the few places in Yunnan without winter. Respecting the natural landscape and based on the human climatic characteristics of Yunnan, SNP intends to design a boutique hotel integrated the plain ancient wisdom with the local characteristics faring from the city and hutting between the clouds and water.
Inspired from the jungle tree house, SNP intended to create a natural paradise for children to experience the charm of Yunnan's rainforest. The pool is modeled after the terraced structure of Yunnan and the infinity design continues the landscape vision, guiding people to swim deep into nature, feeling the beauty of the lake and sky and live with everything. Sitting quietly by the lake, waiting for a sunset, walking in the tea garden, tasting the taste of spring, camping on the boat, and enjoying an unprecedented experience.
The open design of the space is divided into three which are interconnected by the cave entrance so that the functional partition is clear while ensuring that all three spaces can enjoy the scenery of the courtyard and the daylight. The children's room in the cave is decorated with starlight-decorated. From the demand for care and companionship, the rounded lines to make safe and friendly comfort space to children. Animal dolls and slides are designed to fill every corner of the space to satisfy children's interest without the excessive color decorations that the simple colors to lead children close to the real nature. The slide connects the room and the hole makes the two spaces communicative and interesting, whether it is hide-and-seek or slide, the children can play freely on their holidays. Each space is setting with cushions so that the family can sit on the ground in the courtyard at any time, waiting for the night to fall, seeing the stars and the moon and communicating all night together.
