Soulgreen is a vegan restaurant, a biodynamic wine bar, a meeting spot and a mission statement. We translated the ambitious concept into an interior design concept that connects environmental awareness to passionate innovation. The beautiful old building was left in its traditional glory. We plastered the walls with a natural plaster up to two and a half meters high. Above the plaster, we left everything in its original state (check out the beautiful wooden ceiling beams). We used nothing but natural materials like concrete flooring, wood and natural plaster. We even created a water filter system against the wall. At Soulgreen, almost everything seems to be dismountable. The few fixed pieces are kept light and airy, while recycled and re-used materials are implemented as much as possible. We commissioned local recycling talents from Controprogetto to create some compelling wooden furniture. The glass lamps by Dutch designer Sander Wassink consist of re-used tableware. The name of the place is instantly communicated to your senses. Music and staff provide soul, while countless plants surround you with green. The open kitchen is the natural focal point of Soulgreen, allowing you a peek in the pot. Digital elements offer guests more convenience and information. Every table contains a tablet that lets you place an order and read about the Soulgreen recipes and mission.
