The whole space is divided into several different private rooms. It consists of two 8-Person Sushi Rooms, two 6-Person Tatami Rooms, one 8-Person Dining Room, three 2-Person Dining Rooms, and our special Whisky Bar. Our design team set out to create different highlights in each individual space, letting each space become independent yet unified in the same overall atmosphere. Rooms are separated by traditional Japanese dry landscaping (Karesansui). It enriches the interaction between the interior and exterior of the space. Each room has a viewing window to create a chic dining experience for guests.
Although the central color of this space is black, the overall atmosphere is not dull nor dark, as our design uses rich materials and beautiful lighting. The soft lighting in the lobby extends from the walls on both sides to the ceiling, and the soft light fills all the space. Most walls in the public area are exquisite carved wooden fretwork lattices styled after patterns of the Japanese Edo period, which forms a dynamic picture. Taking advantage of the height of the space, some latticework is staggered above the water bar and the 2-Person Dining Rooms. The wooden lattice is decorated with a cloud and wave pattern, which makes the whole space more abundant. The natural rough masonry walls inside the space are in sharp contrast with the finely crafted wooden lattice.
