The design is a clutter-free, organic and sustainable abode of earth tone and neutral finishes. Functional minimalism is also achieved by building sleek storage units which become parts of the interiors, and concealing all obstructing beams for a flush-fitting appearance. With a slim, linear floor cabinet lining one side of the home, a natural flow into common area is achieved whilst amplifying the space’s existing square footage. The designer was also careful not to weigh the space down with heavy appointments by filling the room with lightweight items such as grey sofa, pouf and side table. Ceiling fans and pendant lights were installed to draw your eyes up and emphasize the vertical space. Modest colour scheme of subtle grey and crisp white was used in living and kitchen areas, setting an ideal canvas for vibrant appointments and organic accents. The designer also handpicked top-notch and durable elements for cabinets and fine-grained slates. While interior is neat and simple, technological aspects are not primitive – lighting, home appliances and audio system can be operated by personalized voice command, smart phones and different scenario settings for smart living experience. Time and energy are also efficiently saved. Smart living devices also echo with the overall theme of this interior design – sleek and modern. With wireless control, some excessive switch or control panels can be eliminated to make wall cleaner, clean and minimal elevations can be maintained.
