A room, on one hand containing fixed functional providing areas and a highly flexible merchandising sector on the other. Guests enter the headquarters first floor and will be guided, crossing a bridge facing glass on both sides. 3 gentle steps leading through an asymmetrical one side mirrored entrance into the loft. A consciously swollen, thick wall element separates the main room from the transit area to other parts of the building. The lounge is placed in exact view axis from the entrance next to the open air terrace on the east side, followed by the large dining table and bar- catering element to the north. Rotating panels in the main axis of the loft keeping the option to temporarily divide the room for some privacy. We deliberately oversized the length of elements in the design, to qualify the scale of the large room, which promotes their simple but strong presence while approaching them slowly. criteria innovation, creativity, functionality, sustainability and inclusivity: the room is evenly divided by 5 pillars in 2 sections along the north / south axis. The central feature in the middle is the pratition made of rotating panels, all side covered in mirror polished aluminium, to divide the room in case of simultaneously occuring events or meetings. The bar-catering element in front, was designed to serve the showroom on a brought scale of different possible events, starting with conference meetings to dining invitations and collection presentation partys. It holds large storage areas on both main sides and behind it’s back, in two room-high wall closets covered by mirror surfaced doors, while central and side mirrors hide the supporting pillars. An immersible tap and the arrangement of the surface, true to the stoneware’s picture, emphasizes the elements minimal but massive, monolithic look, while invisible integrated fridge, dishwasher and trash system guarantee a well equipped but hidden workstation for the staff of catering department. The closet next to the entrance is the only merchandising element that cloud not be moved or replaced. It was stated as the highest goal to have all the presenting furniture moveable and flowing on hidden wheels. Sideboards and racks were designed on the same hight of 1.60 m to keep foresight and vision open, this is accented by 2 sideboards diagonally to the rooms main axis holding transparent gray glass on the rear side. Large structures like the tray-table could easily split up and being used separately even to the smallest tray. Cardanic stored 2800K Viabizzuno LED triple lights covered by a black frosted masking, generate a consistent light situation allover the rooms merchandising area up to a hight of 1,60 m above floor surface, to ensure maximum light quality in every situation merchandise could be placed without the need to rearrange the cone. 4 different light zones can be operated separately through a bus system. The dining area as an extension of the client lounge, facing opposite the bar-catering element was exclusively designed to invite guests for dinner in the exceptional atmosphere of the showroom to generate a memorable order experience. To prevent the room from thermal loss, a new high efficient insulation was inserted on the buildings roof which is equal to the showrooms ceiling before the conversion of the floor started. Sustainability in relation to other aspects of environmental protection hasn't been a criterion in the design process, but maximum durability as an essential part of sustainability. Therefore a cautious but elegant and timeless design concept has been established, matching unlimited flexibility and long lasting materials like hard chrome, real metal surfaces, color coated steel, 10 mm massive aluminium boards, hard glass, tiles and grey magnesia screed on the floor. The room was designed to last for many years and overcome the fast moving trends of interior design and the even faster moving changes in fashion industry. A very small scale of different colors and materials reduced to the maximum, together with a Ceiling made of acoustically activated flexible construction system, coated with specialized fine acoustic plastering to avoid interference in conversations simultaneously taking place in different parts of the open room, maintain a quiet and sophisticated atmosphere. Inclusivity hasn't been an aspect in the design process since the area is set in an old factory building which could only be accessed by stairway or a freight elevator in another part of the building, which is a restricted area to all visitors.
