The new Beauty Department of the Printemps Haussmann opened on 15 July 2017 and offers a contemporary space to the major luxury brands. Serge Lutens’brand has a unique place here in the field of excellence. First, an astonishing installation of totems. Sibyllins, they spread the most beautiful fragrances and create a unique experience that embodies the key to entering the brand's universe. Then a passage under an arch as an initiation ritual. A line of light takes its roots in the ground and extends into a sky: a metallic mesh with an inspired pattern. Floor and Sky respond in an increased perspective, it is an Ascension that takes the gaze and the movement towards the background, towards Gold. At the heart of the space, a central table like an altar of fragrances welcomes customers. The walls, like open books, whisper, unfold, to reveal their secrets. By optical effect, frames and levels:Here they reveal a subtle monogram, here a novelty on an embossed paper background, at the bottom, they put forward products and films as windows on the dreamlike universe of the brand. And finally, they unfold to create a privileged moment in an alcove of intimacy. The atmosphere chosen is marked by a demanding combination of colors and materials: black lacquer dominant, matt or glossy, the essence of the brand, gray pearl as a complement, in paper or metal to play with light, depth of a purple, in purple wood or leather to warm up, and finally patinated gold, in sacred touches.
