Seezeitlodge is a unique destination, situated on a peninsula at the Bostalsee, evolving from the topography of the surroundings, featuring 98 rooms and suites, the “Lumi” restaurant with a terrace, the bar “Nox” with a fire lounge, a library, three conference rooms, and a Spa, with an infinity pool and an adjacent Celtic sauna village. The location’s identity between forest and lake and the Celtic history is captured in the interior design, in particular, the Solstice and Equinox axes that are leading from the interior to the outside, joining interior with landscape and architecture. The locations uniqueness is reflected in natural products, seamless surfaces, oiled local woods. Sand, white and earth tones enhance the resort’s comfort and atmosphere. Objects, lamps and wallpaper with Celtic braid and knot patterns, or reminiscent of fish traps, were specially designed for the project. In addition, NICOLAY DESIGN developed the lighting design, immersing the rooms in atmospheric and circadian light NICOLAY DESIGN developed the resort’s overall concept, its special features and unique corporate design, as well as storytelling, capturing the location’s feng shui. The resort’s style is straightforward, casual, cozy, seductive, playful and refreshingly different and always surprising.
