In the city of Sanya, vacation, sunshine and island customs seem to be our unique impression of it. It is always easy to depict our ideal daily life: away from the hustle and bustle and in the natural wild scenery and peaceful atmosphere, which is in response to our initial heart for life. Based on the starting point of ideal life and the original intention of returning to life, the design does not seek complex expression, but pursues simplicity and reality. With the simple interpretation of tranquility and the rough expression of nature, only the beauty of idleness and silence can soothe the clamor of materialistic desires.

The project of Sanya Xinhu Haitang Chunxiao Villa caters to modern people's pursuit of the spiritual realm. Putting the building in the mountains and fields, with the mountains neighboring the sea, it creates a place to escape from the world, which is tailored to the local conditions as well as the needs. The spatial design continues the architectural language, filling the blanks of life with the spiritual core of the Wabi-sabi aesthetics and returning to a real and simple lifestyle.

From the building structure to the facade, from the furniture to the accessories, every landscape and object aims to convey a comfortable and peaceful living atmosphere to the residents, to brush away the worries of the world and enter a state of mind of "nothing".

This space leaves a large area blank. The bottom color of the frame uses micro-cement and travertine to create a rough texture that restores the innocence of the texture. The mottled rust on the fireplace is the precipitation of time, hanging on the wall, and the two touch each other to create a natural and tranquil atmosphere. The furniture design incorporates irregular and rebellious elements, using seemingly rough craftsmanship and ancient colors and wrinkles to create a rustic, restrained and quiet aesthetic.

The lighting system is adjusted to be warm and dim, and random placement of green plants and withered branches easily dissipate the frenetic atmosphere of the world. In terms of soft decorations, ornaments made of clay are carefully selected, and the smell of clay flows in the space, immersing people in the relaxing experience of being one with nature.

Wabi-sabi aesthetics is a kind of high-priced aesthetic, which appears to be "shabby", but it is essentially a transcendent attitude towards life. It contains reverence and respect for time and nature, as well as an appreciation of peeling off the glamorous appearances and revealing the essence of things. The way to simplicity and simplicity, from the simple to see the beauty, from the simple to find the truth, to experience the Zen Buddhism of quiet life, return to the most real self, in order to achieve the most comfortable realm.
