On June 18, 2018, sbe announced mixology concept S Bar as well as its second Miami outpost of modern Japanese cuisine Katsuya, the brand’s fourteenth location overall located at SLS LUX Brickell Hotel & Residences and designed by global design houses Yabu Pushelberg and Arquitectonica, and developed in partnership with The Related Group.

S Bar is a new mixology concept offering a sexy, sultry and glamorous ambiance that takes lounge life to all new heights of enjoyment. Tucked behind the main lobby, S Bar encapsulates the sensuality and vibrancy of the entire property in one dramatic, layered statement. Walls are wrapped in a fanciful custom mural by En Viu artists, Chandler Noah, and Diego Castano, adding depth, dimension, and lush color to the indoor space.

S Bar boasts a 2,535 square foot space seating 85, striking the perfect balance between cultured sophistication and raw elegance. The vibe is casual and the style bohemian chic with an urban edge. Expressive pattern on pattern continues with dramatic floor to ceiling drapery in a cream, black and yellow lattice pattern framing the glazing wall, which plays off the black and white tile floor and eclectic mix of custom upholstered pieces. Tailored banquettes line the perimeter of the room while the center of the space is anchored with four curved-back sofas, all interspersed with smaller round poufs, allowing for easily reconfigurable seating.
