Essential in preserving the fluidity and transparency required by the hectic daily life of this office in São Paulo, this retrofit project, which reused most of the existing furniture, is composed by an ambience with nearly no partitions. Acting almost like a membrane, a glass wall is the only spatial separation present. Another decisive point in this project was the concern with color. To accentuate the space’s size, of only 150 square meters, grey is the predominant shade, only mixed with more vibrant colors in the carpet and carpentry. “As the furniture was very clean, we were able to be bolder in color tones”, says the architect.
