‘An invitation to the land of FANTASY BATHROOMS’
Bathroom is not just a space for washing. It is intimate, intricately intriguing space that provides emotional happiness and satisfaction.
By encountering with an element of ‘water' bathroom sometimes let us dream in the most peaceful manner, brings us to even a ‘fantasy' state.
To unravel this concept of “water” and “fantasy” associating with bathrooms, Studio YOOJOUNG created a unique UX space to convey brand identity for a company called Royal & Co.(Korea’s one of the oldest bath product company)
It was designed with the intention of creating a space that stimulates the imagination through unusual a bathroom experience. The three fantasy bath studio experience (romantic boudoir studio, childhood school bathroom studio & Old Korean bath house studio) is eccentric and fun, cheerful and daring.
Studio YooJoung also uses the various graphic element associated with bathrooms such as rubber duck, soap, toilet paper, towel and toothpaste.
These familiar bath object images once printed oversized on mirror panels it brings a sense of fantasy of being in an imaginary bathland.
Commissioned art works in collaboration between artists and Royal and Co’s own manufacturing factory are also exhibited in arched gallery ways as a company’s history/DNA storytelling elements as well as F&B service area for replenish /nutritional lounge experience.
It is a space to enjoy, engage, inspire, and create.
