Romeo represents a natural synthesis of concepts and models that can appear distant, like street food and haute cuisine in order to combine traditional Italian daily cuisine with a view of cuisine without borders. It is a restaurant located on the slopes of the Aventine Hill, in Piazza dell'Emporio, within a space that has undergone several transformations over the years (anti-aircraft bunker in the post-war period and car dealership in tmore recent times) which has more than 140 seats for a total of 700 square meters open to the public and 300 square meters of technical rooms for staff.
The restaurant consists of a main room with large windows, attested on the square, with very high ceilings (about 7 meters), which is illuminated from above by large skylights and a long vaulted gallery characterized by indentations and protrusions.
Located adjacent to the Romeo restaurant and connected to it through a movable wall, which can be opened in cases of large events, is the Giulietta pizzeria. It is a new concept that offers 110 places within a space of 500 square meters. A great scenographic place in the center of which two wood-fired ovens prepare gourmet pizzas to choose between Neapolitan and Roman. Remniscient of a painting by Magritte, the large modular suspended ceiling volumes (buffers, exhibitors, lighting) can be immediately captured through a sophisticated home automation system in order to create different scenarios and spatial configurations.
