Pura Skin Clinic was designed considering with the relationship in the sense of the place between a city and the space of skin clinic focusing on the interaction with nature and people’s inner minds.

The skin clinics, especially focused on the skin beauty, is totally in the technological method using the newest laser machines and artificial ways, however, paradoxically it is like looking for the pure in the nature of the origin. Namely, people desire to restore their age through the clearly pure skin condition like baby. It is the endless desires to get the pure statue in the nature. Moreover, the city has been the popular area from the past for enjoying their relax life thanks to the natural surroundings like green space. Thus, visiting the clinic could be like having natural therapy which they could relax healthly.
With nature as the sense of place between them, the clinic was started from the conceptional language ‘Pura' in nature ; purus, pure in Latin.

In the whole process like the spacial atmosphere and operation, nature as the main concept plays significantly and the project was created from mutually dealing with the relations between natural and artificial sources as materials, the city and the space, and function. Consequently, the space makes users to feel relaxing and enjoying natural life continued not only from the past to the current in urban context, but also from the city to the space.
