The ground floor of the vestibule adopts the parquet floor of the retro technique, whose simple lines outline the decorative French Window in Roman style. The murals about the changes of Wuhan are embedded in the water pattern glass, which forms a virtual and real echo with the current city scenes.
A waiting room the space is set up in order to restore the impression of being in the station further. A retro telephone ornament and slightly complicated tables and chairs create a tranquil moment. While waiting, sit down to write letters or read to feel the time passing in the phonograph melodious music.
A sense of thickness is reinforced along the aisles because the design team uses classic arch elements in the facade, windows, corridors and many other places to reproduce the classic Romanesque architectural style.
The smooth arc and delicate fence interpret the life scene in the old era. The classical shape wall lamp and metal fasteners complement each other as the finishing touch of the space. The symmetrical stairway is equipped with bronze iron-like stair handrails, and the whole French Window with water pattern is depicted with twisted iron wire. The external change of light and shadow will cast an extremely gorgeous and rich significance on the historic ground in the interior, which further enhances the visual beauty brought by the space with the cooperation of nature.
The anaglyph prototype of the hall comes from the Hankow Customs House, which uses the form of metal carving to carry out the artistic expression. The feelings of the local culture in the heart will be evoked by entering the space.
The metal carving patterns on the entrance stone square all reveal the impression of Hankou leased territory. The mottled rust is the deposit of history, which the design team evolved and applied to the pointer to express the culture of Wuhan in detail.
The ceiling installation above the water bar is made of metal and luminous lamp beads. The overall shape is a half sphere, and a complete sphere is formed through the ceiling mapping of the mirror.
The content of hanging paintings chooses the details of Wuhan people's lives from the past 1970s and 1980s to the present. We hope to arouse the feelings of clients from every bit of life. Some of Wuhan's iconic natural street scenes from the past and present a new look in a more contemporary mounting style.
Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is one of the important historic landmark buildings, known as "the first bridge of the Yangtze River" with classic and eternal beauty. The design team extracts the decorative patterns on the door of the bridge and recombines them to express the essence of Wuhan and awaken the memory in people's hearts.
