A 20’ shipping container was selected as it resembled the size of a modern development en-suite bathroom. The sides were opened up, the exterior painted and branded, and then the interior was finished with two beautifully designed bathrooms; “sleek and serious” and “bold and beautiful”.

Dijon Designs took the project on for us and worked with bathroom designers and suppliers, lighting companies and specialists to produce an interior that would speak to the design community and showcase the beautiful range of Parkside tiles.

From floor to ceiling no detail was too small on this project including foundry trims, single piece shower trays and sinks, traditional style shower cubicles and stunning lighting and mirrors.

Extending the experience outside of the bathrooms, the platform seamlessly flowed from outside to in, unique tiled orange seating and strong branding for the containers were all carefully designed and manufactured to the highest standard.

A crane lifted the experience into the middle of Clerkenwell, London, for the first event. The juxtaposition of the shiny new container sitting outside the 16th Century priory encouraged the audience to explore the bathrooms and engaged the visitor – do you prefer ‘bold and beautiful’ or ‘sleek and serious’ ?
