The different micro-worlds of Primor Barcelona are connected by a monumental staircase in Formica, with arcades created by prisms and an infinite screen on which animations about the world of leather are projected. - Javier de Paz García
The basement of the store is used for a pharmacy, drugstore, and organic and natural cosmetics; in addition to white, this environment incorporates green. "In this area we wanted to create a very fluid circulation with changing rhythms. This is achieved thanks to the furniture and lighting. - Javier de Paz García
The store had an important peculiarity: a façade with a tubular entrance and limited visibility. To get around this and attract the attention of passers-by from the outside to the inside, WANNA designed a spectacular staircase at the main entrance with a tunnel effect that leaves no one indifferent. - Javier de Paz García

The creative studio WANNA immerses visitors in an emotional universe of the skin with the experiential and suggestive design they have defined for the flagship store of the Primor perfume chain in Barcelona.

In the 1250 square meters of the store, spread over three floors - basement, ground floor and first floor - the interior design creates a route articulated in unique microworlds and made with decontextualized materials such as galvanized sheet metal and lava effect laminates. This project is WANNA's second work for Primor, representing an evolution and adaptation of the central store in Madrid.

"Planeta Piel" was the concept we developed in 2020 for the Primor store in Madrid, a project that plays with the skin, its textures, shapes and colors, linking it to the world of cosmetics. Continuing to "bristle the skin" of the customers, now in Primor Barcelona, adapting to the peculiarities of the space, was undoubtedly a new creative and exciting challenge that the studio enjoyed very much.

"Our stores in Madrid and Barcelona have marked a before and after for our brand image. They are already benchmarks in the cosmetics sector, and we are adapting some of their distinctive elements to the rest of our stores. This is the result of the great creative and technical work carried out by WANNA," said Juan Ricardo Hidalgo, CEO of Perfumerías Primor.

The work carried out by the WANNA team at Primor Barcelona ranged from market and trend analysis to digital creative direction and the creation of the brand narrative. They were also responsible for experiential and spatial design, graphics and signage, as well as furniture design and material selection.
The studio's integral involvement also translated into finding, coordinating and directing the suppliers responsible for faithfully realizing WANNA's creative vision and the work teams involved.
