Finishes

Korea's golf population was counted as about 5.64 million last year. It means that one out of every 10people plays golf. As the number of people enjoying golf increased, so did the number of people visiting golf shop. PIRETTI is created by such a trend. PIRETTI, a brand originally famous for putters, is reborn as a golf wear brand in Korea. Near Dosan Park in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, there are many flagship stores of high-end golf wear brands from those with their firm position to emerging ones, which seek to attract eyes with their luxurious facade. As the emerging generations with purchasing power and time enter the golf wear market, a spatial language that can encompass generations is required, and PIRETTI's own brand identity have to be applied to it.

NiiiZ DESIGN LAB focused on putter, a symbol of PIRETTI, as an element that will imprint the brand's impression. A putter is a tool for finishing. NiiiZ DESIGN LAB expressed putters that marked the final moment of golf game at the space. It was a strategy to increase the brand's dignity and differentiate itself from other brands by filling the space with elegant finish and joy of victory. NiiiZ DESIGN LAB installed circular stairs like a huge object on the first floor as a strategy to arousecuriosity to customers. They expressed a dramatic moment to raise a trophy by adding a diagonal mass to the central staircase and the second floor. Scale of mass was created relatively larger than other elements, and soft curved and diagonal structural shapes using liquid metal as surface finish look undistorted. It shows the concept of finale frankly.

Devices to encompasses various generations of customers were revealed through a kind of contrast. The glossy black marble and matte concrete that make up the pattern of the floor emphasize PIRETTI'sunique modern sense and elegance. Matte black marble and concrete used on the wall and hairline stainless steel integrated with furniture, are design. elements to emphasize the contrast of materiality. The innermost zones on the first and second floors have the difference of floor level. Floors and walls are finished boldly with pressed aluminum panels and concrete, attempting the contrast between rough materiality and modern feeling.

The use of colored glass partitions and white glass showing the light source dimly is also in line with it. Besides clothes, various accessories such as gloves, hats, and bags account for a large proportions in golf shop. NiiiZ DESIGN LAB collaborated with an artist to produce tables and stools like art pieces, and placed them so as to display a variety of golf wear accessories uniquely. They made the finale with furniture as a spatial period.
