Client brief
Developed on the client’s brief to build a modern contemporary home that exudes elegance and luxury preserving its neoclassical originality. ELE Interior transformed the interior, facade and landscape to create this hotel-inspired minimalist home.

Concept
ELE Interiors conceptualised the space to be an amalgamation of elegance and luxury. Set in a neutral colour scheme highlighted with hues of blue, the villa speaks grace and elegance accentuated by its art and architectural facets. This is achieved by carefully using natural stones in contrasting dark and light tones complemented by minimalistic furnishing. The design intent is directed to create a contemporary space that houses the amenities of a luxury hotel.

About the ambience
The expansive front door in a natural wood finish leads the way through a stellar foyer adorned with full wall mirrors to the open-plan living area. Lobby displaying hand-picked signature artefacts in the lavish and colossal foyer set the tone for an ideal space for social gatherings. Enhancing the openness of the living room is the connected bar and dining area which serves perfectly for entertaining guests or for quality family time.

The space transcends to the first floor occupied by five spacious bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms. Resembling an oasis is the master suite accentuated by a walk-in closet, a truly luxurious bathroom with a soaking tub and rain shower and an expansive balcony overlooking the private pool.

A fully equipped kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, and a picturesque landscape filled with palm trees, flowering shrubs and serene lawns parallels with those of a lavish boutique hotel.

Challenges overcome
A project to a scale of 830 sqm. with many interesting elements involving challenges to achieve the level of perfection and grace in outcome. Working in close association with fit-out contractors and various suppliers for selections and approvals was tackled by ELE Interior by diligent planning. Another challenge is to curate the design per zonal rules and standards while balancing the creative essence of the concept. The expertise of the design team and an adept understanding of standards helped overcome this challenge.

Unique features
The entrance of the Piedra Villa welcomes visitors with a tastefully designed custom-made stone bench alongside the statement olive tree. This ensemble is set amidst minimalistic lighting fixtures and Italian furniture making the foyer the focus element. Another unique feature of the Piedra Villa is the seamless connectivity through space achieved by harmonious circulation from the living area to formal seating and dining rooms.

The architectural attribute of the gracious double heighted staircase is festooned with bevelled tinted mirrors and stucco cladding and integrated LED Lighting to enhance their visual value.
