Architect Hector Ruiz Velázquez has been working and researching housing in large cities for years, spatially and conceptually expanding square meters into cubic meters. The equivalent on the domestic scale of the strategy of occupying cities more densely instead of making them grow in a disorganized way without controlling the void. The objective is sustainable in itself, and in terms of energy consumption, as well as optimization of maintenance resources.

PETS AND HUMANS PROJECT for CASA DECOR 2023 was a major challenge in this line of habitable sustainability. In 27m2, the design of the space contemplated concepts with social accents of reflection and natural memory necessary and essential for SOCIETY AND HEALTH. A careful selection of 100% natural materials in an enveloping concept created a style of home that invites a HEALTHY, DYNAMIC LIFESTYLE, WITH MOTIVATION FOR EXERCISE AND PHYSICAL MOVEMENT not only to people, but also to their pets. Inspired by the fluidity and balance of nature, which enhances the coexistence and happiness of its species.

The two symbolic cylindrical elements represent TREE TRUNKS which rise thanks to the optimal characteristics of the INTELIGENT TEXTILE MATERIAL, performing BRANCHES AND LEAVES which are expanding the different planes of use in three dimensions. Its consistency recreates a walk-through nature, dissolving the interior limits and modelling the structures, subjecting them to movement and expanding perspectives without angles by maintaining the visual continuity of the set, as it happened in the natural world.

ZERO KM SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS, such as the Ecoplen INTELIGENT TEXTILE designed by the architect himself , where it takes full advantage of all the SOUND, AIR PURIFYING, SELF CLEANING ADVANTAGES with low maintenance since they REPELL BACTERIA, VENTILATE ODOR and work as a THERMAL INSULATOR.

The walls are made of CLAY from Ecoclay with hygroscopic properties, humidity regulators that improve energy efficiency with its thermal properties, good acoustic absorption, neutralizes odors, makes the walls antistatic, emits negative ions, which are the ones we perceive in nature as a consequence of its rupture by the sun's rays, the movement of air or water, ABB NIESSEN home automation puts technology by regulating mechanical consumption in unison with clay and textile, technology of the past with that of the future at the service of environmental well-being and low consumption. The CERAMIC ESSENCE by Saloni designed by the architect himself is applied to the floor with all the properties of clay and with nanotechnology capable of keeping the space free of bacteria.

The MATTERICAL AND STRUCTURAL sensations of the design by architect Héctor Ruiz Velázquez appeal to the improvement in the coexistence of the species, FACILITATING THE CONTACT OF ANIMALS IN THE HOME, while promoting the COMMUNICATION AND POSITIVITY NECESSARY TO IMPROVE LIFE IN LARGE CITIES , searching for creating A NEW ERA OF REAL WELL-BEING.
