The design is a clean, bespoke canvas skilfully scattered with natural materials and refreshing accents that fits a unique way of living. The apartment is not shy of space, but low ceiling has been an issue for the designer to work out. The use of white backdrop enhances the airy feel of the light-filled interiors, while Italian-made oak-shaded materials breathe warmth and sophistication. Low profile furniture helps to maximize perception of the vertical space, in addition to the tailor-made shoe cabinets complete with wooden and grey textured surfaces. Sleek and smooth contours highlight the natural patterns of different materials. And as planned in the detailed design, the abode is bathed in plenty of sunlight, reducing the consumption of extra lighting. Selection of furniture from various renowned brands, including the sofa, sideboards, study table, bedside table, master bed, as well as the striking light fixtures from hanging above the dining table, contribute to a peaceful hideaway that reflects the designer’s signature serene sensibility. Moving towards the private quarters, one is greeted with a lavish but not overblown master bedroom. The spacious kids’ room is exquisitely-designed, with a gentle pull of the folding door, the room is separated into a sleeping zone and a playroom. In the bathroom, users can choose to have a spa in the bathtub or rain shower as they like. The designer hopes users can relax and share happy times with family in this cosy home.
