Taking the meaning of the brand’s name, it is not difficult to find out that the founder of Particle Fever is fond of space and future technology. At the beginning of connecting with the brand, Benwu Studio has won the opportunity of this design cooperation with the concept of particle collision field. Because of the initial understanding and the further communication, we jointly explore and define the attributes, styles and themes of this new brand storefront.
This time, the design process is different from the traditional space design which is experimental for us. The original function of the store is a restaurant, which it contains the main pipelines, high and low, inside the ceilings of the mall, and where also had a 15m high kitchen explosion. With the 690-square-meter area is separated from the stairwell and the hoist way module in the public area, the whole space is divided into two large rooms. These factors greatly limit the utilization of the space, and increase the difficulty for the space design. In terms of functional partitioning, Benwu Studio maintains a large open space feature in order to cater to the open space properties of the space station.
