Fyra had the privilege to design one of the three design bars at the Stockholm Furniture Fair. Named "Paper Bar", the bar draws its inspiration from the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2025 theme “Connecting the Dots“, bringing it to life through an innovative fusion of paper in various forms and functions.

The design of the Paper Bar captures the moment just before creation: a blank canvas, the space where ideas begin to emerge. Paper Bar becomes a place of pure potential, inviting visitors to connect and envision. With creative, resource-wise use of existing material, the elements of the Paper Bar weave together the versatility of paper, an essential material across multiple creative fields from architecture and fashion to writing and music.

To bring vision to life, the Paper Bar has been crafted by Fyra in collaboration with a selection of innovative and forward-thinking Nordic brands. Connected by the roots, the brands share a commitment to using local ingredients, manufacturing know-how and combining industrial production with craftmanship. Forests and wood serve as the foundation for both paper production and finely crafted wooden furniture, symbolizing the Nordic’s profound connection to nature.

To better understand the overall environmental impact of the design, Fyra used Materialisting to calculate the LCA of the Paper Bar. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a comprehensive tool that measures the environmental impact of materials and products - from their origins to disposal. It’s a way to see the bigger picture, way to make informed choices. The field of spatial design requires significantly more data to fully comprehend the implications of its practices. Collective efforts are crucial to gather standardized, comparable data and to steer the industry toward a more circular future.
