This ephemeral pavilion was designed for Mexican porcelain brand, Cesantoni, to display during the Obra Blanca exhibition at Expo Santa Fe in Mexico City.

The project consists of 406 m2; it was built in three days and disassembled in one day, which implies a great architectural and interior design challenge: generating a space with these characteristics that not only expresses the brand’s values and compellingly shows its products , but also gives users the possibility to enjoy a purely architectural and design experience, not just a display.

The pavilion was conceived having a main axis which ends in a large circular top. This axis functions as the main circulation area and is flanked by three symmetrical volumes on each side; on the outside, these volumes are solid boxes which give materiality and rhythm to the exterior façade and, on the inside, invite the guest on an unexpected tour.

The guests enter the first box without knowing what to expect: a surprise, like opening a gift; there, they find the content of what is inside the block train, which house atmospheres ranging from the ethereal and conceptual to the concrete, showing the different applications of Cesantoni's materials.

The different atmospheres we created for each of the blocks include:
- Showroom / material library
- Cellar
- Large format display
- Audiovisual lounge
- Spa
- Orchid Garden

The blocks are connected to each other by steps surrounded by vegetation, which are expressed as voids and silences within the solid composition.

The large circular point embraces and welcomes guests. This is a welcoming space, which promotes the exchange of ideas and functions as a workplace and cocktail area. This area has a bar in the center, crowned with the Cesantoni logo and has a large acacia in the center that gives freshness and scale. The container serves as a large bookstore that also displays branded materials and vegetation. The end of the bookshelf holds a small cellar and private office area.
