The client requested a “out-of-the-box + sustainability concept” and Go Exhibitions / Kadmon Brin exceeded their expectations with this unusual concept based on sustainability. The surrounding walls and counters of the TEVA stand were constructed entirely from cardboard boxes, with attention paid not only to the optics but also to the structural stability. The stand's five meeting rooms and kitchen/warehouse all featured glass doors and windows built into the cardboard walls.
The concept not only used sustainable cradle-to-cradle material with a low carbon footprint, but also ensured that more than 90% of the stand construction material was reusable or recyclable and generated very little waste. Even the relatively large video wall, which enables cross-media networking, was made from the modular BeMatrix system and covered with recycled textile banners. Highly efficient LED lighting and a hanging vertical garden provided the finishing touches.
The look and the curved walls fit the context very well and showed us what is possible when you work with different materials in exhibition stand construction. This is not an unattainably complex design; It shows what you can do with a regular stand if you give it just a little more thought, so it has broad appeal. It is a tangible, experiential, out-of-the-box product. A very cool project that speaks for itself!
