The ITOKI booth at ORGATEC TOKYO, Japan's largest office furniture exhibition which presents new visions for office spaces and workstyles.
ITOKI and five global furniture brands will exhibit solutions for evolving workplaces that support diverse, unrestricted workstyles under a theme of "&ITOKI".

The overall booth design intuitively conveys to attendees the corporate stance that as an office furniture manufacturer and a "design office furniture platformer" ITOKI is committed to “delivering freedom and beautiful options and new work comfort to the workplace world by offering a wide range of products and space solutions that transcend brands".

Concept:
The booth design theme is inspired by fog and clouds, reflecting the "relationship between solids and gases." It combines pipe curtains and furniture to represent the role of a platformer connecting brands. Six brands with distinct atmospheres are loosely defined and interconnected, symbolizing how workplace creators can connect just like people do.

Innovation:
The exhibition conveyed ITOKI'S new message to the market.
It conveys ITOKI's future stance as a platformer for driving office design. (2) It expresses ITOKI's ability to offer a wide range of proposals that enable each customer to make the best mix of choices through collaboration that transcends the boundaries of brands. (3) It declares ITOKI'S trustworthy product offerings based on 130 years of manufacturing know-how.Rather than simply presenting products as in conventional furniture exhibitions, we introduced a new perspective by conveying the company's philosophy and values in an experiential way through the space itself. This exhibition represents an innovative approach that delivers ITOKI’s message directly to visitors.

Harmony of Functionality and Creativity:
The floating pipe curtain design envelops the booth to connect areas and clearly express the platformer's role connecting the six brands. This experiential design can resonate with visitors from diverse backgrounds.
The flowing curtains create dynamic lines of flow that naturally encourage attendees to enter the booth, allowing them to experience the unique identities of each brand in the different areas while fostering easy dialogue between staff and attendees.

Environmental and social impact":
Approximately 3,000 industrial PVC pipes used to connect the space were chosen for recyclability and ability to be remolded. After the 3-day exhibition, all pipes were collected for recycling. The overall weight was reduced by using thin 1mm PVC pipes to minimize structural load and the number of components. The materials were exhibited and used without painting, gluing, or other processing, so that they could be recycled and re-produced as industrial building materials through a minimal number of processes after collection. Additionally, all the exhibited products were moved to our company showroom for continued use to further reduce waste.
