The first store of the fashion sneaker brand OLD ORDER in Southwestern China is located in Chengdu's latest youth commercial landmark and fashion culture gathering spot. During the opening period, the main promotion activity will feature the coffee-colored SKATER-001 shoes.
The design team has created a giant replica made of fiberglass, which is prominently displayed on the exterior facade and adorned with visually striking warning tape. This creative approach pays homage to trendy street culture and contemporary art in a humorous and playful manner, sparking extensive discussions on social media. The store offers an offline experience under the theme of "Shoe Factory". The display design incorporates conveyor belts, warehouse shelves, and other elements, along with an installation composed of shoe lasts. This setup aims to captivate customers' interest in the stories behind the products and provides a unique and intriguing scene that sets it apart from everyday experiences.
Moreover, the light-industrial ambience of the "factory" theme creates a relaxing and free atmosphere, contributing to a dynamic shopping environment. The design team has witnessed the evolving approaches of brand activities in the Chinese market. As an example, the originally planned three-month pop-up store in the shopping mall will now be officially launched at the same site in the upcoming period. Consequently, the pop-up store is no longer a simple booth setup but rather a temporary yet potentially business in longer operation.
This innovative approach explores new business forms and encourages closer collaboration between our team and the brand’s team. By deeply involved in the store's operation, this partnership fosters a favorable environment for business design innovation.
