The studio of interior design and product design Alex March Studio signs the project of interior design of Oda Restaurant & Cocktails, a new gastronomic space inspired in the Ibero-American landscapes in the Barcelona Casino. It is an exclusive place of 252m2 with a capacity of 60 people. The design was developed based on a combination of organic materials such as iron, ropes and wood with a carefully chosen lighting. Taking advantage from a place without a proper natural illumination in the Barcelona Casino and transforming it by the use of different materials, textures, colours, RGB lighting and projections to create a new versatile, ever-changing space with scenes of illumination and different projections depending on whether the guest is there for dinner or for cocktails, thereby extending the experience beyond dining times. The decoration stands out for the use of 8000 meters of strings, a meticulous lighting design, double-focus iron lamps specially designed for the space, and chestnut wood tables with a luminescent effect on the resin, also designed by Alex March. A scenographic and theatrical space that takes full advantage of the simultaneous fusion of music, image and lighting to please customers looking for a unique experience that involves all five senses.
