Located on the west bank of Xianghu Lake, the project was like a floating "square box" which connected by the sculpture with the park entrance. Clear and restrained design language and extremely simple materials create a quiet and powerful architectural environment. There is rhythm in the music and poetry, and the space also has its unique texture, which continuously creates sense of beauty. The design team uses the simple black, white and gray as the main tone in the interior, and such strong hierarchical rhythm create the beauty with different levels. The reception hall on the first floor is an extension of the relationship between the water court and the building. The transparent glass is derived from the building material, the overall color reflect each and show the different levels through texture. The designer intends to create a "transparent box" that is completely integrated into the environment during the day and has no boundary with the water court, while the second floor as the main body floats on the water and the night is like a warm light on the water bank. The hall on the second floor connects the exterior annular ramp of the video and audio room and the interior. and also follows the extension and interaction between the large space indoor and the natural landscape outdoor. The designer always tried to extend the space by shadow, color and material, which are relied on each other as well has own characters. There is a large white art in the Elevator exit, and the acrylic with dynamic curve forms the rhythm of water, which shows a strong contrast by the reflection of black stone. There is a sand tray in the center along the central axis, and it looks like a small lake; the lights on the ceiling are like rain which drops on the "lake". The floating model is leaves in autumn. The water runs through the whole space by various forms. And with the fluctuation of space and moving lines, the visual focus in different regions is formed. There is big black on both sides of bar, which are more like big and deep canyon. The pontoon bridge was made by white marble, and water flows down from "canyon" and the people will go, walk and have talk here. There is a negotiation area beside the grid, and it is independently and do not isolate. The teahouse continues the calm tone and atmosphere of the whole project; the floor-to-ceiling window opens the space and extends the interior. There is independent bar table, dining area and oversized sofa in the banquet hall, which creates a comfortable dining and rest atmosphere. The wine room is slightly unruly, and there is large and comfortable sofa with dark coffee color. The fabric, leather and metal interlace each other.
