The 25hours Hotel has found its new home in Munich, in the magnificent building at Bahnhofplatz 1, originally home to the royal telegraph station. The historic building presented the perfect starting point for a new hotel for the 25hours Hotel Company, which strives to spur guests’ imagination with highly unique, beautiful and functional designs. With seating for 100 guests, NENI invites both locals and visitors to enjoy an evening of Mediterranean cuisine in The Royal Bavarian. Inspired by a journey through Bavaria, the designers developed a concept that would transport guests into a land of royal opulence and the fantasy world of Bavaria’s Fairy Tale King, Ludwig II. As was done with the hotel, Dreimeta oriented the design of the restaurant around the royal Bavarian heritage, combined with a Grand Hotel ambiance, welcoming guests with a vibrant, opulent, royal and tongue-in-cheek atmosphere. Typical for the time of the royal Bavarians: the noble society was fascinated by travels to distant countries. They ordered expeditions into many faraway corners of the world, always with the goal to explore new flora and fauna, cultures and gastronomy. This is the point of intersection where NENI's oriental world merges with the Royal Bavarian. King Ludwig II - possibly the most eccentric of them all - was captivated by the orient. He even built a ceremonial hall in the Bavarian Alps in the Moorish Style where he celebrated many oriental feasts. Surely, he would have loved NENI.
