Naver designed and built the world's first pro-robot architecture, and Archimosphere designed the lobby on the first and second floors of this high-tech building. We designed a new spatial system for the coexistence of robots and humans. A strategy to share the corporate identity with the concierge was also explored that functions as a lobby. The coexistence of robots and humans is a concrete form of life beyond imagination. Archi@Mosphere believes that the substantive consideration of how the high-tech environment will change people's lives is definitely a unique part that deserves the award. Archi@Mosphere designed the lobby environment as a robot test bed of Labs Robotics, a Naver robot company. And, presented the concept of evolving space as the robot evolves.
This design connects Naver's corporate identity with the strategy of making them feel their living energy rather than just a simple exhibition, and also with the identity of pro-robot architecture. Spaces must respond flexibly to evolving robots. Therefore, the parts composing the space were planned and a system that responds flexibly by assembling and dismantling. This assembly system contains a mep device that can perform all predictable functions, along with realization of the structural beauty. The way robots and humans coexist by defining each other's roles in life and develop, is enough to draw people's attention. This system which allows flexible assemblement and disassemblement according to space function, can be transformed into various spaces required by companies.
The evolving space beyond the creation and destruction of space is also consistent with the eco-friendly message that the company pursues. We contemplated on an evolving space. Advanced technology collects and analyzes human movements and patterns, and the spatial system of assembly and disassembly evolves into a better space where humans and robots can coexist.
This concept implies the potential for humans to live more humanely and considers itself innovative. And this concept genuinely contributes to the image of Naver, an IT company. Space and architecture inevitably undergo the process of creation and destruction. And this generates wastes and pollutants that threaten the sustainable life of human beings. We understand that the process of assembly and disassembly is an unfinished process. We believe that through this process, we can actively respond to changes in human life and evolve.
