The original university campus was relocated and transformed into an office park. The designer retained the cultural core and architectural form of the original library, "opened" it on the layout and facade, while adding plenty of modern lifestyles such as sunny patios, bookstores, coffee, and shared spaces to give it a "new life". The campus is located at the foot of the Purple Mountain in Nanjing, by the Xuanwu Lake. It has a good landscape and ecological environment, as well as a cultural atmosphere. After the relocation of the entire university campus, where will the future of this campus go? Both the government and the owners hope to preserve the campus cultural memory of this plot, while giving it new vitality so that it can meet the needs of modern city life. Every campus has a library, which is the core of the campus. The “library” on the Zijin campus of Nanjing Normal University is the cultural landmark of this area and the first step in the reconstruction of the Zijin campus. When the change comes, it is still the symbol of the park. Its humanistic attributes and self-character need to be preserved, but it needs to be changed.
