Mukmeem restaurant focuses on new Cantonese cuisine, which is committed to the modernization and international expression of Cantonese cuisine. The core of traditional culture, the design language of artistic abstraction, and the design ideas tailored to local conditions create a space atmosphere and dining experience different from other traditional Chinese restaurants so that space can be creative "Cantonese style without boundaries." The restaurant is located on the top floor of the shopping mall. There are more giant and more bifurcated columns in the space and the flaws of the ground height difference. The plane is fan-shaped, which causes much inconvenience to space use, and the utilization rate is low. Faced with more space constraints, the designer took advantage of the plane layout and took advantage of the facade shape. Based on balancing function and form, designed the space in a fusion, relaxed and interesting posture. The fan-shaped arcs presented in the space bring out another order and level. Break the disadvantages and adapt to local conditions. The entrance design uses a limited space to create an infinite scene. The light-transmitting Changhong glass screen is combined with the hollow partition screen to divide the narrow space and achieve the technique of obstructing the view. The stone collage with the flow of the ground. After passing the screen, the panoramic view of the restaurant can be seen. Passing through the entrance, there is an open dining area, and the "big kapok trees" come into view. These are the original bifurcated columns in the space. Through reprocessing, the designer produces more branches and forks wrapped in champagne gold stainless steel and soft green whitewash, enriching the big tree's shape. Then the highest point of the ceiling line in the middle here is pulled to 4500mm to form the two slopes of the canopy. The surface is covered with wood grain aluminum panels to hold up the inner center's huge space and broaden the vertical space level and shape. It presents the natural structure's beauty with natural colors and shapes, highlights the artistic image of the theme "Kapok Tree", and creates a refreshing and cozy atmosphere for diners to sit and dine under the big tree. The thrush bird on the brand logo is another main element. The designer integrates it into the lighting design with a concise shape and embellishes it in the space to create an interesting artistic conception of double pairs of birds on the tree and a hundred birds returning to their nests. Under the tree, the yellow dancing orchid on the vase softens the space and adds a Chinese elegance touch. The entire dining space is like a vivid Chinese painting of flowers and birds, slowly unfolding in the space. It echoes the space theme of "Hundred Birds Perched on Kapok" and allows diners to feel the tranquility and elegance of "the flowers are still there in spring, and the birds will not be surprised" in the dining space. Space's raised area is divided into multiple private rooms by glass brick walls and shaped partitions, enjoying an independent dining environment. The light-transmitting and non-transparent characteristics of glass bricks allow natural light to penetrate space better. Simultaneously, the glass bricks have fine lines and changes in color combinations to make the space more agile. The square hand-made glazed brick partition, with a round hole in the middle, creates an artistic effect of "separation but not separation." The kapok petal screen has a two-layer structure. Changing the different materials and color ratios of the petals can restore the state of falling flowers, allowing diners to feel the interlaced visual changes when walking in the restaurant, making the space more enjoyable. The color of the space continues the quiet green in the brand VI as the main color to enhance the space's visual experience. It uses champagne gold, lotus pond green, and woody yellow as its additional colors to match the unique modern Chinese color system. The restaurant design, in this case, uses modern Chinese aesthetics and the art of design to give the space a unique charm and activate the restaurant's distinctive vitality. This design makes full use of the space structure's characteristics, and the space design according to local conditions conveys the brand's cultural genes.
