The interior designers of Casa do Passadiço, Cláudia and Catarina Soares Pereira, designed the recently opened Aquazzura store in Moscow, Russia. The Moscow boutique pays homage to Russian aesthetic reinterpreting it with Aquazzura signature codes. The exterior respects the architectural history of the city maintaining the original façade built between 1974-1976, while inside, the instantly recognizable Aquzzura aesthetic welcomes you a pop of deep red, inlaid marble floors and the iconic black and white stripes. The interior designers Cláudia and Catarina Soares Pereira fell in love with the amazing architecture of the city and wanted to translate the Russian architecture to the project, reproducing its mood in the details, using a palette of rare marbles, golden brass, velvet, linen, handwoven wool carpets, glossy lacquers and decorative plasters for the ceiling and walls. The marble floors in black and white stripes form a mesmerizing woven pattern inspired by the intricate inlaid marble floor found in St Petersburg's State Hermitage Museum. The bold new design of Casa do Passadiço studio (who already have signed multiple Aquazzura Interiors, including the luxury label's flagship at Palazzo Corsini in Florence, London, Miami and Dubai as well as its New York and Milan showrooms), includes arched ceilings in red plasters and black and white bold stripes, the defining feature of the brand, inspired in the pillars found in the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella in Florence.
