Peacefully nestled in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, this monochromatic abode was inspired by the designer’s appreciation for the black and white palette.

Once considered a conservative color concoction, this palette presents a sleek, modern outlook in this home. The key design of this residence is anchored by white surfaces and black clean-cut lines. Smooth surfaces accented with bright colored furniture and art pieces project a modern yet understated vibe, setting the perfect canvas for the play of light. To create a warmer ambience and accentuate all the textures throughout the house, the designer employed a mixed selection of lightings, including LED light strips, decorative lamps, and narrow-angled eyeball.

Perfect for a bachelor, the home design retained an open flow between the living room, the dining and the kitchen with careful space planning in mind. The extra bedroom is converted into a glorious open-system wardrobe complete with railing and LED light strips boasting a luxury retail boutique’s ambience. With the original door of this room sealed, the designer constructed a new entrance that leads directly into the master bedroom to offer more privacy and a logical flow between the spaces.

One will find plenty surprises in this 1,850sqft realm.
