The central spiral staircase in the Sky Garden is staged by integrated linear lighting above the steps on both sides. The narrow light line follows the curves of the object-like structure in a minimalist manner. A linear light profile recessed into the metal ceiling smoothly following the ceiling opening offers illumination in accordance with workplace requirements. - HGEsch
The elegantly upward-sweeping facade, which merges the five-story podium and the 28- story glass tower into an imposing ensemble, is a design by the renowned London-based architectural office Foster + Partners. With its prominent location and significant building height, the new MOL Campus represents a landmark for Budapest. - HGEsch
Description: The so-called podium forms the lower part of the ensemble and provides a view of the tower with the centrally running Green Spine, the greened vertical axis, through a generous roof glazing. - HGEsch

The MOL Group is the leading oil and gas company in Central and Eastern Europe and is represented in more than 40 countries. The group employs almost 29,000 people worldwide. At the end of 2022, after three years of construction, MOL consolidated its local corporate locations into one campus building in Budapest. The striking design, created by Foster + Partners, has resulted in a unique building that houses a food court and cafés, a gym with a spa area, and a conference center as well as providing numerous other facilities for employees on the lower floors. The upper floors, up to the 27th story, feature flexible-use workspaces connected by the recurring element of lush indoor greenery. The client’s brief was to create a functional, yet atmospheric lighting concept for 2,500 employees to offer attractive working environments, promote communication and social interaction and encourage flexible collaboration throughout the versatile office and various public areas.
At the same time, MOL's corporate vision and the sustainability strategy of the globally active company were to be reflected as well as the energy requirements of LEED Platinum and Breeam excellent building certifications to be achieved.
