Open, sophisticated design that resembles a museum display. The installation consisted of a neutral, warm grey box with two open fronts revealing the exhibition inside. Products were placed in two types of minimalist display cases. The first was a large box whose pale pink glass walls were constructed from out of production materials, thus transferring a sense of rarity and treasure to the objects inside. The second type of cases - made by ourselves from trims of square-shaped iron tubing used in our Helsinki collection - were placed around the central box. Much like in a museum, light was the key player in emphasising Desalto's works. Concentric bands illuminated the objects in the display cases, while controlled-beam fixtures were mounted strategically in a while mesh spanning the ceiling to create both accents, and a trasparency in the space.
