In Metasequoia Wonderland in Jiefang Park, digital technology is integrated into every aspect of the space experience. In collaboration with Tsinghua University and based on real-time ecological data capture and development system, the real-time open-source data on the number of migratory birds in Wuhan is presented as particle flow that changes visually. Visitors can change the shape of the particle flow by adding their captured gestures. Through infrared interactive technology, when visitors step into specific locations, introductory audio about wetland plants will be diffused from the top and the stamen-shaped lights close to the visitors will change synchronously. The radar-based gesture interactive projection creates an immersive scene including emergent pond plants, floating plants, submerged plants, floating-leaf plants, and animals and plants under the wetland. As visitors walk through the wetland, the scenario changes, showcasing different kinds of wetland water purification knowledge.

Through artistic scenography, graphic design and movie display, the project creates a "dream wetland" in the park. The immersive art form contributes to a natural wetland environment that displays various organisms in the wetland harmoniously and creatively, allowing visitors to understand and love these diversified life forms. The exhibition space combines lighting interaction, big data visual interaction, projection and sensing installations, radar sensing, and other technologies to give visitors a highly immersive interactive experience.

Metasequoia Wonderland is a natural science education center that features local park characteristics and regional differences, forming a natural science education base system with rich forms. It is a digital exhibition hall that explores cutting-edge science display approaches, which combines Alibaba's platform and technology to generate a repeatable digital space product. It is also a second classroom for additional extra-curricular content, which cooperates with schools to carry out natural knowledge learning in nature. Additionally, it offers highly participatory and immersive online and offline experiences to facilitate content promotion.

The project is committed to using local resources and recycling materials while also exploring the use of new materials that align with principles of low carbon and sustainability. The exhibition hall uses real-time data from Tsinghua University's open-source database to accurately capture ecological data of local migratory birds. This real-time data helps to provide an interactive and educational experience for visitors. The unique vegetation and wetland landscape of Jiefang Park is incorporated into the immersive environment of the exhibition hall to enhance its cultural identity, providing an engaging place for teenagers to learn about environmental conservation. Technology and design are utilized to create an engaging and accessible platform for environmental education.
