Mercedes-Benz Vision EQS staging at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin Fall / Winter 2021 in collaboration with Tom Van Der Borght. The Belgian fashion designer had the opportunity not only to present his latest fashion pieces but also to create a unique display for the Mercedes-Benz VISION EQS. His approach was to find a mix between the future and the past by using early computer graphics and handcrafted weaving techniques. The image that he wanted to portrait was an image of hope and moving forward to a bright future. In his design process Tom Von Der Borght always likes to add and accumulate things until nothing else can be add on. This is how he created the powerful display by using colorful weaving elements paired with video installations on LED screens.
