Located in the heart of Istanbul’s Bebek neighborhood along the Bosphorus, the Melis Göral showroom was conceived in harmony with the jewelry collections on display while creating a showroom experience tied to the luxury brand’s identity. Melis Göral is located within a historic building with double-height ceilings and large windows that naturally connect the showroom to the landscape.
SANAYI313 custom-designed an Art Deco-inspired statement octagonal glass display unit with a bronze metal frame to hold jewelry. Situated on the right-end corner and accessed via floor-to-ceiling glass doors, is a private room where the brand houses their rare diamond collection. Here, a mirrored ceiling creates an optical illusion magnifying the room's interior and collection. In the lounge area, side tables from one of the designer’s furniture collections contribute to the comfortable atmosphere centered on glass displays anchored by a wooden base concealing additional storage.
Minimal yet maximalist furniture was selected for the remaining space, including a curved desk for customer consultations. A collaborator was brought in to design lighting to ensure the enhancement of the gold and rich colors complementing the semi-precious jewelry. A special lighting system was executed to achieve the optimum balance between natural and artificial light for the showcases, important for customers looking to purchase jewelry based on how the stones may appear in various settings.
