Manly Greenhouse is a 3 storey, waterfront venue where patrons enjoy a relaxed street-level cafe & bar, a smart mid-level a la carte grille, and a sophisticated rooftop bar. The ground floor embraces the black steel framing of a traditional greenhouse, with folding windows that connect the street and ocean views with the interior. The hub of the kitchen merges with the dining area, providing a casual, open feel. Polished brass, marble and textured leather contrast against concrete floors, mosaic tiles, whitewashed brick, timber and draping greenery, creating a casual elegance. The journey upwards begins with a wall of pressed native flowers suspended in glass screens created by Australian artist, Beci Orpin. Against the lustre of polished stucco walls and scattered bronze lights, the stairwell spirals around a glittering brass and black steel wine tower. Through this unique display patrons enter the restaurant where the mood is refined and luxe. The palette of Italian marble, brass, black steel and fluted glass screens is paired with golden velvet and grey leather. Like the ground floor, the space provides glimpses into the kitchen and opens up to a balcony to embrace the ocean views. At the rooftop, guests are greeted with an oasis of cascading plants and a retractable ceiling showcasing Manly’s quintessential blue skies. The steel bracing, timber beams, exposed brick and patterned tiles set a backdrop for marble & brass details and the curved, blackened steel bar.
