Magazzino03 was born from the idea of a project to build an office that divided the part of material work from the design process, being at the same time economic, but most importantly with a personal imprint that spoke of our origins.
Since ancient times Pistoia has been famous for nurseries and agriculture and for this reason I looked for greenhouse materials to raise the walls.
Quarrata, the closest city to Pistoia, with which I collaborate for the production of furniture, has been famous since the dawn of design as ‘’Città del Mobile’’ (city of furniture) and has helped me a lot, inspiring the realization of the interiors.
I built everything manually and on my own, I tried to create a sort of painting, which had a unique artistic form.
Structurally the parts of work are divided and have very different roles.
The Studio in the Studio: it has two floors, the upstairs is characterized by a more modern, futuristic part, which is supported by the "classic" part, to which we must always refer for innovation. The above acts as a ‘brain’, a thinking space from which we can see the outside and the inside, and where all the projects take place, from free-hand drawing to computer rendering.
The part on the ground floor is the "heart" where meetings take place, where we have a coffee, read or eat pasta together thanks to a small induction cooker.
The exterior is used as a showroom or a working area for some projects, we have a warehouse and a laboratory for prototyping.
