Named after Charlotte, the lovable and charming protagonist of the novel The Sorrows of Young Werther, LOTTE is a company that has been providing satisfaction and trust to many customers for a long time. Inspired by the story of LOTTE's origins, LABOTORY worked with Space Strategy Team at LOTTE Department Store to plan and design LOTTE VIP lounges.

During the planning phase, we divided the book into chapters based on the development of the story. The Purple Lounge is setting for the second chapter, "The Elegant Ball of Lotte and Wether". Upon entering the main hall, the expanding sense of space, the symmetry of the center, the dome shape of the ceiling, the circular pattern of the floor that resembles the movement of a rhythmic waltz, and the curved lines of the ceiling lights that add a touch of glamor to the space, evoke a ballroom where waltzes echo gracefully. Upon entering, guests experience an extraordinary emotional journey, as if they are walking on the glamorous stage of a ballroom.

We hope that everyone who visits this lounge, which was planned and designed together with Space Strategy Team at LOTTE Department Store, will be able to experience the same intense and dramatic moments as Lotte when she walked into the ballroom in her beautiful dress.
