Having seen the jewelry design manuscripts and personal collections all over the house, the designer decides to borrow the mellow and full shape of gems and the inlaying processing technique of jewelry as the design concept, penetrating the whole house with the element of a quarter of a circle (arc).

In addition to making up a space for both work and living of the owner, the designer also prepares a special playhouse for two cats the owner brought back from Italy. The space, with an exceptional arc structure, plays the role of display and space extension, while creating a soft, romantic atmosphere.

The modern, minimalist style is matched with the gray tone to look relaxed and comfortable. Some parts are embellished with bright soft outfits to enhance the vitality of the space. The open kitchen, dining room and jewelry display area are placed in the entrance area. In the soft light, gray toned space, warm wood materials and arc elements combine to create an open place for reception with personalized features.

The symmetric heterogeneous arc connecting the second space increases the tension of the space. The blue gradient glass wall modeling echoes the doorway to enhance the spatial hierarchy. The public area ceiling extends upward infinitely thanks to the reflective effect of the gray fine finish art paint, which solves the previous low floor height problem. Gold foils and cement art paint are inlaid to combine the ceiling and lamps with wit and humor, while fortifying the artistic sense of the space.

Another highlight in the design of this case is to create a paradise for the owner's cats. A couch and storage cabinet are designed by the window with the best views, while the original partition wall is opened to form a corridor of light, where the owner stays with the cats. The arc-shaped passage in the living room couch becomes a secret base of the cats.

The owner says her cats are very clingy, so the designer devises a quadrant cat door on the doors of the master bedroom and the water closet, and lays the ground with stainless steel plates, allowing the pets to get in and out gracefully every time.
