Starting and ending your day in a luxurious, calming and comfortable bathroom was the biggest wish for our clients. DAB Studio designed this bathroom for a befriended couple with two young children, living in Amsterdam. A contemporary design without clichés. 

The bathroom is equipped with a spacious walk-in shower, a bathtub with free-standing faucet, a sink with double faucets and a heated tiled surface for drying towels. The olive green, glazed tiles and sand tones serve as the base palette for this bathroom, inspired by the intimate courtyard garden that you can see while lying in the tub. Accents of aged brass like the faucets and fixtures ensure a warm and calming ambience. 

The walk-in shower is separated by a frameless glass wall made of smokey glass. This is enclosed in the wall tiles and ceiling. This is to preserve spaciousness on the limited surface. The custom-made sink cabinet is made of walnut wood with a heavy rectangular travertine sink on top. All the client's wishes have been realised without having to make concessions in terms of functionality or aesthetics.
