The Chinese character ‘myeong’ in Junmyeongdang, which is one of the venues for the exhibition, is a combination of the words ‘eye’ and ‘the moon,’ meaning ‘to see brightly.’ This was the motif for the exhibition , a venue displaying Korean sculptures that re-interpret the modernization era with contemporary perspective along with media art. We hope that this exhibition will offer valuable time to reflect upon the changes that modernization brought us and its meaning through contemporary works.
