A real privilege to be involved in this project for many reasons:
Fernando Higueras’s 1967-75 landmark building, collaborating with B720 Fermín Vázquez, for SIMON an extraordinary client, with a programme very close to our interests and knowledge.

Conjugate between two worlds: Higueras concrete and SIMON light control.

A new space devoted to culture and celebrating light, to reflect of the Simon company’s visión for its future.

Respecting the original “geography” of the building, we have contributed to the design of the lighting and the furniture, in other words: the atmosphere and the uses.

The lighting, with the sophisticated control of PROTOPIXEL and SIMON luminaires and mechanisms, has been conceived to be able to show, demonstrate and exemplify different uses and atmospheres, changing, almost alive, thus suggesting thousands of possibilities to specifiers and clients.

The vegetation, originally existing in the building, has been respected and extended. Also on floor -1, there is a patio with artificial lighting, generating images of the very near future.

The furniture is an evolution, improvement and adaptation of what we have been working with SIMON in recent years.

Solid wood for the people and stainless steel for the products to be shown.

With this new space, Simon is taking another step toward its goal of engaging more with people, as it refines its attempts to project the potential of Digital Light and the company’s role in this new era of lighting.

In summary, this project defines everything related to the culture of light, from the technological, industrial, conceptual and emotional perspectives.
