KINCANG Morden Pre-school was designed by LYCS Architecture with integrated architecture and interior design. The project is designed in accordance with the highest standards of kindergarten architecture in China and includes 18 classes.
The saturated colors run from the building to the interior, and multiple large bright color blocks with warm log colors are used in each space, which simply and efficiently divide the use functions, and the elements that children love such as rounded arches and chamfered corners can be seen everywhere, and the functions of the interior space are combined with the ergonomics of young children to shape a personalized teaching space in a scenario-based way.
From the perspective of children, the campus itself is a forest encounter, with favorite slides and fun devices coming around a corner and play space prepared for children everywhere. At the same time, details such as height-appropriate railing handrails and rounded corners are silently designed to protect the children's adventure.
Every morning, parents bring their children safely to the first floor pick-up area, and after the children go through the morning check, they come to the foyer on the first floor. Once they step into the foyer, they feel like they have fallen into a "fantasy forest". The basketball court, mini-theater, parent-child dining bar, picture book library and swimming pool are set up on the active line of the first floor of the building, which is like a "dream parade" and is the first social initiation for children.
The small theater can accommodate 200 people and is an important place for children's daily and performance activities. The space adopts flexible and storable seats to adapt to different activity needs, and the multi-layered ceiling and stage design made of high saturated colors mobilize the atmosphere of the space and stimulate children's desire to perform.
The basketball hall chooses a bright yellow and blue color scheme to collide with the active space and inspire children's energy. The picture book library, on the other hand, uses a large area of wood color with green to create a warm and comfortable reading space.
The swimming pool is the favorite place for children in the hot summer. Unlike the uniform swimming pools, the swimming pool in Mond is filled with space by pink and blue gradient tiles, with continuous arched ceiling and doorways to stimulate the fun of the space and create a dreamy summer atmosphere, with water splashing around and the sound of children laughing and playing incessantly.
As the first international kindergarten to practice a diversified curriculum, "exploring the future" is the theme of the teaching space, where diversified learning such as dual-screen interactive learning, situational animation classroom, and art and body training is carried out in each teaching space, where children learn diversified knowledge and step into a broader future.
