On June 18, 2018, sbe announced mixology concept S Bar as well as its second Miami outpost of modern Japanese cuisine Katsuya, the brand’s fourteenth location overall located at SLS LUX Brickell Hotel & Residences and designed by global design houses Yabu Pushelberg and Arquitectonica, and developed in partnership with The Related Group.
Helmed by Chef Denevin Miranda, Executive Chef for the property, Katsuya at SLS LUX Brickell offers an original dining experience, marrying master Chef Katsuya Uechi’s fresh and innovative take on Japanese classics with an imaginative and thoughtful design by one of the most recognized design firms in the world, Yabu Pushelberg.
The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offering signature favorites along with new items created especially for the location such as the Kani Crab Avocado Blue Crab, Avocado, Grapefruit Gastrique, Furikake Rice Crackers; Crawfish Shui Mai Smoked Corn Mousse, Bisque Air, Smoked Trout Roe, Andouille Riyu; A5 Fried Rice A5 Wagyu Beef, Garlic Chips, Chives; and Tea Smoked Duck Confit Leeks, Okinawa Potato Anna, Hoisin Sauce.
Accommodating nearly 180 diners, the 6,537 sq ft expertly composed space features a private dining room for 10-12 diners that can also be divided into two separate rooms.
