There are countless wormholes in the universe as we known. Wormholes have tremendous power to gather matter here, and at the same time they are also a passage to another time and space. This project was designed to lead people to another place and time where they can escape from the bustle and flamboyance of the city life. “MODERNITY”, “SIMPLICITY”, “SOFTNESS”, and “SMOOTHNESS” are the design principles of this project, using artistic design language to create an elegant and rhythmic space for the sales center. People nowadays are increasingly desire simplicity and comfort, therefore, simple line structure, pure colors, geometrical soft decorations and glass metal artworks are used to create certain modern feel and make the space more dynamic and richness. Interior space layout follows the curvilinear shape of the building and outdoor landscape area. The ceiling is also designed in a curve form, like clouds and mist on the top, guiding visitors enter the sales center. The display sand box area is the focus of the sales center. Designers open a rounded skylight right above the sand box with streamers of sculpture hanging in the air, which inspired by thinking to the universe, the ceiling part forms waves on the surface, as disturbed water dose, giving people the imagination of looking at the wormhole. The skylight brings fresh air and natural light into the interior, not only save energy to meet the demands of green low-carbon life, but also create strong visual impact for the sales center. The reception area is set on the side against the full glass wall, and forms semi-closed spaces by fabric sofa. The large area of north-facing glass provides ample but diffused sunlight, and also offer dramatic views of outdoor landscape. The indoor plants and warm-colored decoration create a comfortable and independent chatting zone.The wide corridor provides easy access to the cashier and other areas, and also filters out the noise for the reception area. The minimalist design style and white space gives people more imagination about layout, and a chance to feel the softness of light and smoothness of shapes in openness.
